LIVE_DEVICE and RECORDED_SESSION require externally supplied packets. The deterministic vector runs only as ENGINE_TEST. This boundary is part of the engine integrity.

Profile selection never changes the HRC Core. It constrains latency, hold time, ramp time, and evidence wording at the adapter boundary.
